Antonella and Jacob

When Jacob and I moved into this apartment in November of 2020, we knew we wanted to go all out in any way we could (within the limits of being a renter, of course) and make this apartment the home we always wanted. Combining both of our respective styles was a challenge; Jacob loves the look of dark wood, rich colors, and traditional furniture, while I love the look of warm wood, bright colors and vintage eclectic pieces. With our powers combined, I managed to find a color palette and overall design that worked for both of us, found a way to incorporate bright colors while contrasting with rich, dark tones, made it stylish while keeping it cozy, and saved ourselves a good amount of cash by thrifting, repurposing hand-me-downs, and scoring some amazing secondhand finds. We've been in this home for almost a year as of writing this, and this is only the beginning of what this home is to become. I have a lot more planned, and I can't wait to share it!
